For about the last 6 months I've not been able to donate blood with my left arm due to a small bit of acne near where they put the needle. That's fine since my right arm is better for donation. Still the acne hasn't really gone away so I decided to try something. I took one of those scouring pads for cleaning kitchens and poured rubbing alcohol on it then scrubbed the area thoroughly. Let's see if this has any effect on clearing it up. I'm sure you guys seriously didn't need to know any of that. I'm just bored. Anyway around 1:30 I have another appointment to give blood. This time I chose an early appointment so I wouldn't have to wait. It seems like after 3:00 it's just annoying to donate. After school gets out there are a lot of people there to donate and the staff has a hard time keeping up. Last time I had to wait 45 minutes just to get to the "testing" stage to make sure I am eligible to donate. I didn't actually get to actually donating till an hour after my scheduled appointment. When each doctor has to take care of 2 or 3 donors all at once it makes the donating process take a long time.

Anyway aside from that dad's been home a couple weeks now. My uncle is helping him get a job. I'm going to have to teach him how to use a computer because since he left he's never even touched a computer. I'm the "tech guy" of the family so I guess it shouldn't be too bad.
